The Cameroon Society of English-Speaking Evaluators (CamSEE) is proud to announce the upcoming 2024 gLOCAL Evaluation Week, scheduled to take place from June 4th to June 7th, 2024, in Bamenda, Cameroon. This year’s theme, “Evaluation and Transformational Change: Balancing Ambition and Realism,” highlights the critical role of evaluation in driving positive change and sustainable development.
The 2024 gLOCAL Evaluation Week will feature a series of engaging and informative activities designed to promote knowledge sharing, capacity building, and collaboration among evaluation practitioners, policymakers, civil society organizations, and other stakeholders.
The event will include:
- Training of Civil Society Organizations: Participants will have the opportunity to enhance their evaluation skills and knowledge through interactive training sessions tailored to the needs of civil society organizations. Topics covered will include evaluation methodologies, data collection techniques, and strategies for utilizing evaluation findings to inform decision-making and program improvement.
- Conference Presentations: M&E experts and thought leaders in the field of evaluation will deliver keynote addresses and presentations on a wide range of topics related to evaluation and transformational change. Participants will gain valuable insights into emerging trends, innovative approaches, and best practices in evaluation practice and theory.
- Panel Discussions: Engaging panel discussions will provide a platform for dialogue and exchange of ideas on key issues and challenges facing the evaluation community. Panelists will explore themes such as balancing ambition and realism in evaluation, promoting equity and inclusion in evaluation practice, and harnessing the power of evaluation for transformative change.
